Who we are

Fanlo (fanlo.app) is a smart link analytics platform for content creators and businesses. We help you understand how your audience engages with the links you share.

What we collect from visitors

When someone opens a Fanlo link, we record:

• →The time the link was opened
• →Device type (mobile, desktop, or tablet)
• →An anonymised identifier — we never store raw IP addresses. We hash the IP address with a daily rotating salt so it cannot be reversed or traced back to an individual.

We also detect and filter out automated crawler requests (from bots and link preview generators) so only genuine human opens are counted.

What we collect from creators

When you create a Fanlo account, we collect:

• →Your name and email address (from Google sign-in)
• →Your profile picture URL (from Google)
• →The links you create and their analytics data

We store this to provide your dashboard and analytics service.

How we use your data

We use this data only to:

• →Help creators understand how their content is performing
• →Generate analytics shown in your dashboard
• →Improve the Fanlo product

Creators see aggregate numbers only — total opens, unique devices, and device type breakdown. No individual visitor data is ever shown to creators.

What we never do

• →We never sell your data to anyone
• →We never share individual data with third parties
• →We never use your data for advertising
• →We never track visitors across other websites
• →We never store raw IP addresses

DPDP compliance

Fanlo is built to comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act). We:

• →Collect only the minimum data necessary
• →Anonymise identifiers before storage
• →Never sell or share personal data
• →Respond to data deletion requests within 30 days
• →Maintain appropriate security measures to protect stored data

Data retention

We retain analytics data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is deleted within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top when we do. Continued use of Fanlo after changes means you accept the updated policy.
